Fragments of the industrial age
Screen-Installation, 2008
Fragments of the Industrial Age is a generated screen-Installation. Images of piles of recycled metal are themselves recycled and newly combined. The installation consists of 400 slides, generated from 20 original images that are recombined in a way to play with perception and create a deceiving deja-vu effect.
The intention is to apply the idea of recycling to images, and generate a great number of new images by a computer program.
